Martin Siegert talks about Lake Ellsworth, West Antarctica

Professor Martin Siegert is Director of the Bristol Glaciology Centre, Professor of Geosciences at the University of Bristol and Honorary Professor of Geosciences at the University of Edinburgh. He talks about the Lake Ellsworth Consortium, a programme aimed at exploring a large sub-glacial lake beneath the ice of West Antarctica. Out of Ice features Elizabeth Ogilvie’s Lake Ellsworth video, re-edited from footage originally taken by British Antarctic Survey.
